Biomira, Centocor Diagnostics deal

The companies completed the transfer of BIOMF's Truquant blood test kits for breast, ovarian and gastrointestinal cancers to Centocor Diagnostics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Centocor Inc. (CNTO) (see BioCentury, April 6).

Centocor received an exclusive license to antibodies and antigens for in vitro diagnostics applications and equipment from BIOMF subsidiary Biomira Diagnostics Inc. (Toronto, Ontario).
