Zintevir integrase inhibitor data

At the Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy in Toronto, ARNX reported the pharmacokinetics of Zintevir, tested at single doses of 0.75, 1.5, 3 or 6 mg/kg, or in multiple doses of 1.5 or 3 mg/kg, given by intravenous infusion over two hours. Multiple doses were given every other day for 14 days. The 6 mg/kg single dose gave plasma concentrations equivalent to those that inhibit HIV in vitro, which was sustained for up to 12 hours.
