Sam Yang Group's Sun Hill Glucose Co. Ltd. (Korea) subsidiary will buy $1.8 million of common stock of PHYTOpharmaceuticals Inc., an ESN subsidiary. The investment, which is subject to approval by Korean authorities, would represent a 12.6 percent stake in the unit.
