Forest, Novexel to develop combination antibacterial

Forest (NYSE:FRX) received exclusive rights to develop and market a combination product in North America using NXL104, a beta lactamase inhibitor from Novexel (Romainville, France), and Forest's ceftaroline. Forest also received a first negotiation right to develop and market a product in North America combining NXL104 with ceftazidime, a generic cephalosporin antibiotic.
