BII sold its cardiovascular stent business and related drug-eluting stent programs to ABT for £165 million ($234 million). ABT also received a license to BII phosphorycholine (PC) coating technology, for use with certain devices. BII is eligible for royalties on drug-eluting cardiovascular stents.
