Agritek Bioingredients Corp., Amarillo, Biovance Technologies Inc., Vanguard Biosciences Inc. deal

AGK and AMAR signed a letter of intent under which AGK would acquire 70 percent of AMAR subsidiary Vanguard, which holds the animal rights to AMAR's patents for low dose interferon. Agritek would complete studies of low dose interferon in animal health, make staged cash payments to AMAR of up to $2 million and obtain FDA approvals for products.
