Welsh Life Sciences Fund financial update

The Welsh Government has committed £50 million ($78.4 million) for its Welsh Life Sciences Fund. The government is seeking contributions from investors to give the fund a total of £100 million ($156.8 million). Chris Evans, chairman of U.K. medical sciences investment house Excalibur, is advising the fund, which will typically invest £250,000-£4 million ($392,025-$6.3 million) in lifesciences companies in Wales across all stages of development, from seed capital to growth capital. ...
