Computational tool prospectively predicts resistance to cancer drugs

An Institute of Cancer Research team has developed a computational prediction tool that can predict which resistant mutations will develop in response to cancer drugs before a patient takes the drug. The results suggest the approach could give investigators an early start on identifying next-generation drugs for subsequent treatment.
