Ranbaxy sales and marketing update

Ranbaxy said that in January it recalled two lots of its 10 mg generic tablet formulation of cholesterol drug Lipitor atorvastatin manufactured in India. Ranbaxy said there is a "remote possibility" that the 10 mg dose bottle contains 20 mg atorvastatin tablets. The company said that it has not received any complaints. Lipitor is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor marketed by Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE, New York, N.Y.). Ranbaxy said it does not break out product sales. ...
