Vitaros alprostadil regulatory update

Apricus said the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (AEMPS) approved Vitaros alprostadil to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Vitaros was approved under Europe's decentralized procedure in June 2013, with the Netherlands acting as the reference member state. All concerned member states- Luxembourg, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden and the U.K. - have approved the drug. Apricus expects its partners to launch the product throughout 2014. The product is a topical prostaglandin E1 (PGE1) cream formulated with Apricus' NexACT transdermal delivery technology. ...
