In cynomolgus macaques infected with a lethal dose of Marburg virus, twice-daily 15 mg intramuscular BCX4430 given 24 or 48 hours post-infection and for 14 subsequent days led to a 100% survival rate. All vehicle-treated control animals died by day 12. Data were published in Nature.
