Kamada preclinical data

In mice, single-dose anti-CD4/ CD8 treatment plus Glassia significantly delayed time to graft rejection and increased the rate of graft acceptance of rat to mouse pancreatic islet xenograft transplantation vs. anti-CD4/CD8 treatment alone. Data were published in PloS ONE. The study was conducted by researchers at the Clinical Islet Laboratory at Ben-Gurion University and funded by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The researchers said further studies are required to elucidate the mechanism behind the observed synergy, as well as the applicability of the approach for pig to human islet xenotransplantation. ...
