Novo Nordisk said it will establish a new obesity research unit in Seattle. The unit's main task will be to identify new approaches and targets for obesity treatments. Kevin Grove will join Novo Nordisk to head the unit. Grove was a senior scientist at the Oregon Health & Science University (Portland, Ore.). The unit, which will be co-located with the Novo Nordisk Type 1 Diabetes Research Unit, will initially employ about 10 people and is expected to employ about 60 employees when it is fully operational by the end of 2016. ...
