Tekmira joined a consortium to conduct clinical trials of Ebola virus therapeutics in West Africa. Tekmira said the Wellcome Trust awarded L3.2 million ($5.2 million) to the consortium, which includes representatives from the World Health Organization, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Doctors without Borders, ISARIC and Fondation Merieux.
