Abbott disclosed in an SEC filing that members of its management team will lead its pharma split AbbVie. Abbott previously announced that Richard Gonzalez, Abbott's EVP of global pharmaceuticals, will become chairman and CEO. Joining him is William Chase, VP of licensing and acquisitions, who will become CFO. John Leonard will hold the same position as SVP of pharmaceutical R&D and Carlos Alban will also hold the same position as SVP of proprietary pharmaceutical products, global commercial operations. EVP of General Counsel and Corporate Secretary Laura Schumacher will become general counsel and corporate secretary at AbbVie, while Timothy Richmond will transition to chief human resources officer from Abbott's divisional VP of compensation and benefits. ...
