Lead Discovery Center, German Cancer Research Center deal

The Lead Discovery Center launched an initial pilot project with a research group in the German Cancer Research Center's German Consortium for Translational Cancer Research (DKTK) to identify new drugs to treat neuroblastoma and other cancer types. The partners plan to identify and validate initial drug candidates from the Lead Discovery Center's compound library, and the Lead Discovery Center will reach out to its industry contacts as potential partners for subsequent clinical development. The project is partially supported by the Helmholtz Validation Fund, and the remaining costs are covered by the research budget of the individual Helmholtz Center. ...
