An antibiotic has efficacy against fungal infections

A Canadian team has developed a network of antifungal-compound interactions, termed the Antifungal Combination Matrix, and identified an antibiotic that has activity against fungal infections.
The team began by performing high throughput combination screens of sublethal doses of six known antifungals with over 3,000 bioactive molecules in cultures of multiple species of fungi.
