Bayer and the Broad Institute expand partnership into heart disease genomics

Having joined forces in 2013 in oncology, Bayer AG and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard are extending their partnership to look for new cardiovascular disease targets using genomics.
The collaboration, announced last month, allows Bayer to tap into the Broad Institute's expertise in genomics, while splitting the target validation work between the Bayer and Broad Institute teams.
