HHS denies gag order

On Wednesday, HHS denied that the department or its agencies have received a gag order from the Trump administration. The department and FDA referred questions to the White House concerning implementation of Trump’s executive orders freezing hiring and regulations. The White House did not respond to queries.

“Contrary to erroneous media reports, HHS and its agencies continue to communicate fully about its work through all of its regular communication channels with the public, the media and other relevant audiences,” the agency's Bill Hall told BioCentury. "There is no directive to do otherwise."...
