Gritstone raises $102M series A

Gritstone Oncology Inc. (Emeryville, Calif.) raised $102 million in a series A round, the third-largest series A for a biotech this year. Versant Ventures and The Column Group led the round, which also included Clarus Ventures; Frazier Healthcare; Redmile Group; Casdin Capital; and Transformational Healthcare Opportunity.
