Woodford, Malin join Immunocore's $320M A round

Immunocore Ltd. (Abingdon, U.K.) raised $320 million in a series A round, the largest European biotech venture round on record. New investors Woodford Investment Management LLP, Malin Corp. plc (ISE:MLC) and Eli Lilly and Co. (NYSE:LLY) participated alongside undisclosed existing investors. Malin CEO Adrian Howd told BioCentury the firm provided $80 million of the round.

CEO Eliot Forster told BioCentury the financing is expected to support Immunocore's development programs for the next three to five years. ...
