MacroGenics jumps 56% in first trading day

MacroGenics Inc. (NASDAQ:MGNX) jumped $8.99 (56%) to $24.99 on Thursday in its first day of trading after raising $80 million through the sale of 5 million shares at $16 in an IPO. The IPO price values the company at $384.3 million. Earlier this month, MacroGenics amended the offering and said it hoped to sell 4 million shares at $14-$16.
