Galapagos raises EUR 53.9M

Galapagos N.V. (Euronext:GLPG; Pink:GLPYY) said late Wednesday that it raised EUR 53.9 million ($70.5 million) through the sale of 2.7 million shares at EUR 20 in a private placement to institutional investors. Galapagos had proposed to raise up to EUR 40 million in the offering before market close on Wednesday. Jefferies and Kempen were coordinators. Galapagos was up EUR 0.11 to EUR 20.45 on Wednesday. ...
