NIH discloses stem cell labs

The NIH on Monday disclosed the 10 laboratories that it says have derived 64 stem cell lines that meet President Bush's criteria for use in federally funded human embryonic stem cell research. The 10 labs include BresaGen (Athens, Ga.); CyThera (San Diego, Calif.); Karolinska Institute (Stockholm, Sweden); Monash University (Melbourne, Australia); National Center for Biological Sciences (Bangalore, India); Reliance Life Sciences (Mumbai, India); Technion-Israel Institute of Technology (Haifa, Israel); University of California (San Francisco, Calif.); Goteborg University (Goteborg, Sweden); and Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (Madison, Wis.). ...
