Qiagen and Genomics Collaborative unite

The two companies will jointly offer genomics services, combining single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) genotyping services from Qiagen Genomics (Seattle, Wash.), a subsidiary of Qiagen (NMarkt:QIA; EASD:QGEN; QGENF), and sample repository and database services from Genomics Collaborative ( Cambridge, Mass.). According to the companies, the combined services will provide both association of patient populations with disease using Genomics Collaborative's repository of DNA, tissue and serum samples as well as high throughput SNP analysis of those samples. ...
