Mixed investing on genome news

Speaking from the White House Monday morning, President Clinton made an expected announcement that the Human Genome Project public consortium and Celera Genomics (CRA) have assembled working drafts of the human genome and will simultaneously publish their results later this year.

Science Editor Donald Kennedy said that he is "optimistic" that data from Celera and the Human Genome Project can be published simultaneously accompanied by publicly accessible posting of the primary sequence data. ...
