Avalere: Part B changes will most affect specialists

CMS's proposed change to its reimbursement formula for physician-administered drugs under Medicare Part B would lead to the greatest reduction in revenue for hospital outpatient departments and would have the greatest effect on ophthalmologists and other specialists, according to an analysis by healthcare consultancy Avalere Health LLC.
