PhRMA wants EU, Canada on USTR watch list

The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America requested that the U.S. Trade Representative place the EU and Canada on the office's 2014 Priority Watch List. In (see BioCentury, Dec. 9, 2013).

The Priority Watch List is part of an annual USTR report on global IP protection and includes countries identified as having deficiencies in IP protection or enforcement. Countries on the list are subject to "increased bilateral attention," and some also may be subject to a USTR investigation and sanctions. ...
