HHS delays online enrollment for small business exchanges

The Obama administration delayed online enrollment for small businesses purchasing health coverage for their employees through federally run exchanges by one year until November 2014, according to an HHS post. Online enrollment for the federally run Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) marketplace was scheduled to open Saturday. HHS said the delay will allow it to focus on making improvements to HealthCare.gov, the federal healthcare exchange website.
