FTC to examine state legislation, naming for biosimilars

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission is examining how state regulations and international naming conventions could affect the development of and competition for biosimilars. A Dec. 10 workshop will cover the topics and will also focus on how state regulations could be structured to facilitate competition.
