Lawmakers reintroduce bill to repeal IPAB

Rep. Phil Roe (R-Tenn.) and a bipartisan group of 84 members of the U.S. House of Representatives reintroduced the Protecting Seniors Access to Medicare Act (H.R. 351), which would repeal the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB). A Roe spokesperson said the text of H.R. 351 is the same as that of H.R. 452, which was introduced during the 112th Congress and then incorporated into a separate bill to limit medical malpractice lawsuits.
