U.K. to seek input on cancer drug fund

U.K. Secretary of State for Health Andrew Lansley is planning to ask patient groups, clinicians and other National Health Service stakeholders to advise on the design of a cancer drug fund due to be established as early as April 2011. Earlier this week, the new British coalition government reaffirmed in its proposed legislative program the Conservative party election promise to create the fund "to enable patients to access the cancer drugs their doctors think will help them." ...
