Hatteras closes fifth fund

Hatteras Venture Partners said it closed Hatteras Venture Partners V with more than $150 million. It plans to invest in therapeutics, devices, diagnostics and healthcare IT companies, with a portion allocated to its Hatteras Discovery investments in seed and early stage companies and projects.
