Proclara raises $47M

Protein misfolding company Proclara BioSciences Inc. (Cambridge, Mass.) raised $47 million in a series E round with existing investors, including undisclosed angels and Merieux Developpement.

Proclara (formerly NeuroPhage Pharmaceuticals Inc.) named Daniel Lynch executive chairman and Nick Leschly a director. Lynch is a venture partner at Third Rock Ventures, which is not a Proclara investor. Leschly is CEO of bluebird bio Inc. (NASDAQ:BLUE). ...
