Amicus raises $225M in follow-on

Orphan disease company Amicus Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:FOLD) raised $225 million through the sale of 17 million shares at $13.25 in a follow-on underwritten by JPMorgan; Goldman Sachs; Cowen; and Janney Montgomery Scott. The company proposed the offering Wednesday after market close, when its shares were valued at $13.09. Amicus gained $1.05 to $14.34 on Friday. ...
