Quantum Genomics raises EUR 33.2M

Quantum Genomics Corp. (Euronext:ALQGC) raised EUR 33.2 million ($37.9 million) through the sale of 5.3 million shares at EUR 6.30 in a public offering and private placement on the Alternext market of Euronext Paris underwritten by Invest Securities. The price valued Quantum Genomics at EUR 41.5 million ($47.4 million). The cardiovascular company proposed the offering on Jan. 27. Trading in its shares was halted on Jan. 20, when they were valued at EUR 6.69, and is expected to resume Feb. 18.

Quantum Genomics started a Phase IIa trial in January of lead candidate QGC001 to treat essential grade I or II hypertension. The company hopes to partner the glutamyl aminopeptidase ( ENPEP) inhibitor by YE16. ...
