Global Blood raises $48M in series B

Global Blood Therapeutics Inc. (South San Francisco, Calif.) raised $48 million in an untranched series B round from Wellington Management; RA Capital; Deerfield Management; Sabby Capital; Perceptive Life Sciences; an affiliate of Cowen; and an undisclosed public investment fund.
