Rockwell proposes to raise $55 million

Rockwell Medical Inc. (NASDAQ:RMTI) proposed to raise $55 million in a follow-on underwritten by BofA Merrill Lynch; Stifel, Nicolaus; Summer Street; Craig-Hallum Capital Group; Chardan Capital; and LifeSci Capital.

On Nov. 10, FDA's Oncologic Drugs Advisory Committee voted 8-3 that the benefits outweigh the risks for the company's Triferic soluble ferric pyrophosphate citrate to treat iron loss to maintain hemoglobin in patients with hemodialysis-dependent stage 5 chronic kidney disease (CKD).
