IPO roundup: Xenon, Molecular Partners price; Inotek files

Xenon Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:XENE) and Molecular Partners AG (SIX:MOLN) each priced IPOs and began trading, while Inotek Pharmaceuticals Corp. (Lexington, Mass.) filed for a new listing.

Xenon gained $1.50 (17%) to $10.50 in its first day of trading after it raised $36 million by pricing 4 million shares at $9. The price valued Xenon at $122.2 million, including shares purchased by the Genentech Inc. unit of Roche (SIX:ROG; OCTQX:RHHBY) in a concurrent $4.5 million private placement at the IPO price.
