Piqur raises CHF18 million in series A extension

Cancer play Piqur Therapeutics AG (Basel, Switzerland) raised CHF18 million ($20.2 million) in an extension of a series A round, bringing the total raised in the round to CHF32 million ($35.6 million). New investor Versant Ventures led the extension. Undisclosed new and existing private investors also participated. Piqur raised CHF14 million ($15.4 million) in the series A round in January.
