Egalet files for IPO

Egalet Ltd. (Vaerlose, Denmark) filed to raise up to $69 million in an IPO underwritten by Stifel; JMP Securities; Canaccord; and Janney Montgomery Scott. Egalet is developing abuse-deterrent oral formulations of opioids based on its drug delivery technology. In 1Q14, the company plans to start pivotal trials of Egalet-001 to treat moderate to severe pain. An NDA submission for the abuse-deterrent, extended-release oral formulation of morphine is slated for 4Q14. ...
