The Medicines Co. raises $175 million in follow-on

The Medicines Co. (NASDAQ:MDCO) raised $175 million through the sale of 5.8 million shares at $30.25 in a follow-on underwritten by JPMorgan; BofA Merrill Lynch; and Leerink. The Medicines Co. first proposed to sell 5.5 million shares in the offering late Monday, when its share price was $32.14.
