Skyline Ventures' Sullivan passes away

Skyline Ventures said Managing Director Stephen Sullivan died last Thursday from lung cancer. He was 57.

Sullivan joined Skyline in 2000 and was involved in managing and investing in healthcare companies. He was chief resident in internal medicine at Stanford University in 1985 before going into private practice in Silicon Valley for a decade. Sullivan was also one of the first employees of healthcare IT company Eclipsys Corp. Eclipsys merged in 2010 with Allscripts-Misys Healthcare Solutions Inc. to form Allscripts Healthcare Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ:ECLP). ...
