Rinat raises $17.5 million

Newly formed Rinat Neuroscience (Palo Alto, Calif.) raised $17.5 million from Tularik (TLRK); Technology Partners; Essex Woodlands Health Ventures; and private investors. Rinat is developing therapeutics to treat neurological disorders including Parkinson's disease, pain, neuropathy and Alzheimer's disease.
