GlycoDesign, ConjuChem sell IPOs

Two Canadian IPOs priced on Thursday, bringing in a total of C$50 million. GlycoDesign (TSE:GD), which is developing cancer, cardiovascular, inflammation and infectious disease therapeutics based on carbohydrate modification, raised C$25 million (US$16.3 million) in an IPO through the sale of 2.1 million shares at C$11.75 (US$7.63). On Sept. 28, the company filed to raise at least C$24 million. The deal was underwritten by Loewen, Ondaatje, McCutcheon; BMO Nesbitt Burns; and National Bank. ...
