Three biotech companies stepped up to the offerings plate, while one pulled out of the batter's box. Drug discovery instrument and consumables company LJL Biosystems (LJLB) said it will not proceed with its proposed follow-on due to market conditions. On March 14, LJLB proposed to sell 2.5 million shares with a 375,000-share overallotment when its stock price was at $25. LJLB was up $0.563 to $15.75 on Monday. ...
