Second Genome taps CEO, tops off series B

Microbiome company Second Genome Inc. (South San Francisco, Calif.) named Glenn Nedwin president and CEO. He was CEO of environmental and agricultural microbiome company Taxon Biosciences Inc., which E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Co. (NYSE:DD) acquired in 2015.

Nedwin replaced Peter DiLaura. The company said DiLaura left as part of a planned CEO transition after it raised a series B round in April. Second Genome declined to discuss his next steps. He no longer holds a board seat. ...
