Regeneron Genetics Center adds 3 academic deals

The Regeneron Genetics Center LLC (RGC) of Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:REGN) expanded its footprint with three new partnerships with academic research centers and the formation a scientific advisory board.

RGC will collaborate with Columbia University Medical Center to study inherited cardiometabolic diseases and familial cancer predisposition; the Clinic for Special Children (Strasburg, Pa.) to study early onset and familial forms of pediatric disorders in Amish and Mennonite populations; and Baylor College of Medicine to study the function of Mendelian disease genes discovered at that university. ...
