FDA approves Anacor's Kerydin

FDA approved Kerydin tavaborole from Anacor Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:ANAC) to treat onychomycosis of the toenails. The company said Kerydin, its first approved product, is the first topical oxaborole antifungal approved for the indication.
