Tam to resign as Vivus president

Vivus Inc. (NASDAQ:VVUS) announced that Peter Tam will resign as president effective Oct. 12. Tam has held the role since October 2009, and has been at Vivus for 20 years. He will be replaced by CEO Seth Fischer who is also a director. Vivus, which made the announcement after the market closed, was off $0.32 to $9.45 on Friday. ...
